These terms govern your use of ChairTrade (chairtrade.co.uk), operated by ChairTrade.

By using the site you agree to these terms.

The platform

ChairTrade is a marketplace for second-hand professional barbering and hairdressing equipment. We facilitate transactions between sellers and buyers. We are not the seller of any item listed on the platform.

Sellers

By submitting a listing you confirm that:
- You own the item and have the right to sell it
- The item is professional barbering or hairdressing equipment
- The condition grade you have selected is accurate
- All information provided is truthful

Listings are reviewed before going live. We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing at our discretion.

Buyers

By purchasing an item you agree to pay the listed price plus the 12% platform fee added at checkout. All sales are final unless a dispute is raised within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.

Fees

Listing on ChairTrade is free for sellers. A 12% platform fee is charged to the buyer at checkout. Sellers receive their full asking price via PayPal once delivery is confirmed.

Disputes

Disputes must be raised within 48 hours of confirmed delivery. Contact hello@chairtrade.co.uk with your order number and supporting photos. ChairTrade's decision on all disputes is final.

Prohibited items

The following are not permitted on ChairTrade:
- Consumer-grade or non-professional equipment
- Counterfeit or stolen goods
- Items that do not relate to barbering or hairdressing

Limitation of liability

ChairTrade is not liable for the condition of items sold, disputes between buyers and sellers beyond our stated dispute process, or any loss arising from use of the platform.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
